Domenica started her sales and marketing career in newspapers in 1992, but by the late 1990s was at the forefront of the digital industry.
Having run and sold a digital marketing agency, Domenica entered the Chinese industry five years ago and is now a recognised Chinese digital consultant to a number of our larger clients, as well as an experienced public speaker.
When not consulting, Domenica leads the Emerging Communications management team, ensuring our work is the best in the industry.
When not working, you will find Domenica enjoying time with her seven-year-old daughter or practising yoga.
Melody is a co-founder of Emerging Communications. She has extensive experience in Chinese digital marketing, having worked for some of China’s and the UK’s largest and best-known agencies.
Melody heads our programmatic divisions, and specialises in planning and buying media across Chinese platforms and ensuring KPIs are met. Melody also heads the luxury operations division.
As a renowned trainer and public speaker, Melody is often seen on industry panels and speaking at events.
As an experienced climber, Melody can be seen scaling mountains and enjoys travelling the world.
Kirstie, a qualified management accountant, has more than 20 years of experience in businesses ranging from start-ups to large multi-nationals.
Kirstie plans and runs all of Emerging Communications’s financial operations, both in the UK and China, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Outside work Kirstie can be found at the gym or in the kitchen practising her sugar flower and cake decorating skills – when not running around after her two children.
Debbie, who spent more than 15 years in the recruitment industry, is responsible for the day-to-day running of Emerging Communications. She also manages our IT and Marketing administrative departments.
Debbie’s most important role is that of HR. She runs all HR processes in the UK and China and ensures our teams are happy and motivated, which is paramount in delivering the best work.
Debbie also works closely with our retained immigration lawyers and is often seconded to advise on matters concerning employment of Chinese nationals or recruiting Chinese staff in-market.
When not at work, you will find Debbie swimming, cycling or running. She is an ex-international synchronised swimmer and has completed three Ironman-distance triathlons.
Evonne started as a designer in 2003, and has since worked for some of the largest clients and agencies in China and London.
Bringing with her a wealth of design, account management and project management experience, Evonne leads the B2B and education account management teams at Emerging Communications.
Evonne, who is bi-lingual Chinese, plans comprehensive digital strategies for global clients, ensuring campaign executions with a high standard, and managing key client accounts.
If that wasn’t enough, Evonne also leads our Chinese operations team, spanning paid search, creatives and Chinese web services.
When she is not working, you will see Evonne sampling the delights of Europe.
Rocky heads the Emerging Communications consultative services team.
With particular expertise in the education and B2B sectors, Rocky brings seven years of Chinese digital marketing experience gained at some of China’s largest agencies.
Rocky’s team provide extensive client research, website usability, content and go-to-market strategies. Clients that have taken our advice include Queens University, Elsevier, Coventry University, Watches of Switzerland, Scottish Enterprise and Estee Lauder.
Rocky, who is bi-lingual Chinese, is also an accomplished trainer and public speaker and is often seen chairing industry events.
In her spare time, Rocky is a keen chef and loves creating masterpieces in the kitchen.
Marie, who is fluent in Chinese, works within our luxury division, managing and leading a team of account managers.
She joined us from a Chinese digital agency in Beijing. Marie brought with her in-depth knowledge of the Chinese digital landscape and experience in aiding European clients to enter and manoeuvre in the Chinese market.
This, coupled with Marie’s passion and ability to articulate to Western clients the opportunities and threats in China, makes her a real asset to our team.
Marie’s team also run customer and blogger events to provide a true end-to-end solution for luxury clients within the Chinese market.
